“A
Country Christmas” Hosted by Rick Barnes and Heather Richards held
at the Glove Theatre was a Sold Out Success!!
Thank You to all of you who supported our First Annual Country
Christmas. The Good news is that we’ll be throwing A Country Christmas
Every Year!! I can’t tell you how many people told Rick, and myself how
organized the show was, and that it was like watching something from the
Grand Ole Opry. A of Big Thank You to all the Performers!! Thank
you also goes out to the Cheyenne band who learned all the solo artists
songs. That is no easy task considering Christmas songs are filled with
tons of chords, but also that we only had two rehearsals with the
performers. They spent many nights preparing on their personal time to
get ready for the show practicing, so they deserve a big Thank You!!
And, Thank You to Lenny for providing sound. That again is no easy task
when your spending hours setting up and tearing down equipment. Lenny
has also provided sound for many benefits and showcases free of charge
for the community and I would like to personally thank him for taking
the time to do that considering he has more than he can handle working a
full time job with overtime, building a studio onto our house and
hauling equipment around to my gigs. And, You’ll never hear him
complain. He Loves hard work!! |

St James Luthier
Church
It was nice to see a
few faces that I recognized at the St. James Luthier Church Concert
Series Gig. There were a lot of people that were new faces that really
seemed to enjoy my original material. The Countrymans showed their
support and always seem to like my original songs. Peter Betz who is
always a faithful friend video taped the show and helped Lenny pick up
some of his equipment. Joe and Rachel showed up to support me and helped
Lenny as well. So Thank You to all of you.. And, A big thank you to
Terry who filled in on acoustic guitar and harmonies. Terry and I have
written many songs together and it was nice to share some of them with
you.
Newsletter--If anyone has an email address and would like to get
Jack and Rose’s Newsletter and schedule online, Please
email me. Just let me know your signing up for the
online newsletter along with your name. I would then send you a link and
password to access the Newsletter and Schedule page. Only those on my
parents list will have access to these pages. My parents have a huge
mailing list which is growing and I would like to economize the amount
they spend on postage by getting them updated with an online Newsletter.
The Newsletter would be the same as the paper letter. It would HELP out
a lot!!

Announcement |
Announcement: I have been updating my
parent’s website with photos of their friends. If you are on my parent’s
mailing list, you are considered a friend so if you have a photo of
yourself that you would like added to their site, please contact me
through my parents contact page. I’ve already added a few photos but
they don’t have pictures of everyone yet so please send them on in.
I would like to add quotes or a small description of what you think a
friend is on the friend’s page as well. If you would like your quote or
description added, send that to me as well through mail or email. If you
want your name listed under the quote, let me know when you send it.
